Validated Science-Based Climate Targets
Promega has received validation of our near-term targets from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), an independent confirmation that our climate commitments align with limiting global warming to 1.5°C. These targets extend beyond our own operations to include our value chain, marking a significant step in our approach to climate action.

Achieving 100% Renewable Electricity
Promega has achieved 100% renewable electricity across all global operations. On-site solar at Feynman Parking Garage, Feynman Center and Kornberg Center provides over 1,300 kW; our partnership with O’Brien Solar Fields (right) provides 1.25 MW covering 10%+ of annual consumption; operations in France, Germany and UK use on-site solar.
Reducing Effects from Product Design and Distribution
Promega reduces the environmental impacts of our product lifecycle by integrating green chemistry as well as sustainable packaging and shipping options.
Investing Globally in Sustainable Growth
Promega holds ISO 14001 environmental management certification at our Madison campus and at branches in the Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, China and the United Kingdom.
Minimizing Waste
We continue to expand recycling infrastructure across global locations, including efforts to divert lab plastics, electronics and other materials from landfills.
