MyGlo "Try Before You Buy" Program - Participation Agreement

Welcome to our MyGlo trial program! We're excited to offer you the opportunity to evaluate the MyGlo device in your lab. This agreement outlines how the program works and what we both can expect from each other.

Who Can Participate?

This program is designed for researchers working at registered labs and institutions in the Nordic countries and Estonia. To participate, you need to:

Be at least 18 years old
Work at a research institution or laboratory
Have permission from your institution to accept equipment for evaluation
Be located in the Nordic countries or Estonia

We may ask you to confirm these details before sending you a device.

Your 30-Day Trial

You'll receive a MyGlo device to use free of charge for 30 days, starting from the day it arrives at your lab. There's no obligation to purchase anything, and we may occasionally extend the trial period if that's helpful for your evaluation.

How You Can Use the Device

What the device is for: The MyGlo is meant for your internal research purposes only. It's an evaluation unit to help you see if it's the right fit for your lab's needs.

Please don't:

Use it for clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic purposes
Test it on human or animal subjects
Share, lend, sell, or transfer it to anyone else
Take it apart or modify it
Use it in ways that violate export regulations or safety guidelines

We trust you'll use the device responsibly and in accordance with your institution's policies and local regulations.

Returning the Device

Important to know: The MyGlo device remains Promega Biotech AB's property throughout the trial period. You're welcome to purchase it if you'd like to keep using it - just let us know!

Return timeline: Please return the device within 10 business days after your trial period ends. We'll provide simple return instructions.

Condition: We expect normal wear and tear, but please return the device in good working condition. If there's damage beyond typical use, we may need to charge your institution for repairs or replacement.

If you forget to return it: We understand things get busy! If the device isn't returned on time or comes back damaged, we'll reach out to discuss next steps, which may include invoicing your institution for the device's value.

Sharing Your Experience

We'd love to hear what you think! We may invite you to share feedback through surveys or brief conversations about your experience with the MyGlo device.

When you share feedback with us, we may use your insights to improve our products and services. We won't identify you or your institution in any public communications without asking your permission first. Any confidential or proprietary information you share will be kept private.

Program Changes

We may occasionally update or adjust this program. If we do make significant changes or need to end the program, we'll let you know. If that happens, we'll simply ask you to return the device as described above.

Our Responsibilities

What we provide: The MyGlo device is offered as-is for evaluation purposes. While we stand behind our product quality, the device is provided for you to assess in your own lab environment.

Your responsibility: You're responsible for how the device is used during the trial period. Please use it according to these guidelines, your institution's policies, and applicable regulations.

Limits on liability: Like most evaluation programs, we can't be responsible for indirect business impacts like lost data, interrupted research, or similar issues that might occur during your trial. Our liability is limited to the value of the device itself. Of course, nothing here limits our responsibility for serious matters like personal injury caused by our negligence or intentional misconduct.

Legal Details

This agreement follows Swedish law. If any legal disputes arise (which we hope won't happen!), they'll be handled by Swedish courts unless your local laws require otherwise.

If any part of this agreement turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of it still applies. This agreement represents our complete understanding about the trial program and replaces any previous conversations or agreements about it.
