Transforming growth factor β1 (TGFβ1) is a 25kDa homodimer composed of two 12.5kDa subunits held together by disulfide bonds. TGFβ1 is a protein of immense interest to a number of fields and has been associated with intracellular matrix deposition and tissue repair/damage, cell cycle control and apoptosis. The Anti-TGFβ1 pAb is directed against biologically active human TGFβ1, providing a useful tool to analyze TGFβ1 in Western blot analysis or immunostaining applications.
